breakfasting alone, again 14/08/06

Clare had a slice of six-seeded toast - not made in a bread-making machine (see earlier entry), but bought from a small bakers in Gloucestershire, which also sells the flour. She spread half this slice with peanut butter and half with jam, and quickly found herself folding the two sides together to make a sandwich. Clare drank tea.
Breakfast occurred approximately one hour earlier than usual, to allow Clare time to go the the Camden parking permit centre and get a replacement residents' parking permit, following the theft of her existing permit last Friday.
